Hello,

In the demos, I didn’t see a category for restaurants, and that is the only category I am interested in. Is there a restaurants category and will it work with geolocation? I want to have a page “Restaurants Nearby” – something that works like foodies.com.

Thanks,
Kevin

Hello,
You can create categories according to your need in google maps. As you already seen demos at the google maps example you can create category restaurants and display it on google maps. You can geo locate your own locations using this plugin very well.

Hello,

I purchased the Pro version. I have gone through the manual and the How To. The instructions are not clear.

I cannot figure out how to do this. I have spent hours with no success.

Also, for testing geolocation, I have to use Firefox as Chrome will not allow geolocation unless the site has SSL. (I am getting SSL soon.)

I just want a page to display a map based on the user geolocation with a listing of restaurants nearby. I want it to auto display without the user having to conduct a search.

Please look here https://www.foodies.com/

I want something similar to that functionality, please.

Hello,
Https is necessary to load visitor current location this is the limitation set by Google. When you got https you need to enable "Visitor Current Location" from backend. I have enclosed screenshot.

Example Link:https://wpgmp.flippercode.com/example/load-map-according-to-visitor-location/
Tutorial Link: https://wpgmp.flippercode.com/docs/how-to-load-the-map-based-on-visitors-current-location/

After https enabled, visitor current location will automatically load when user open your main page.

I already did this. This is NOT the problem. I already told you that I can see this in FF browser.

See my attached image. How do I make this happen?

It seems it should be simple, but hours of attempts have no success.

I would like a refund.
