I sent an email (chat was unavailable) via your site a few days ago, but I haven’t received a response so I’ll try here.
I have a travel blog and am interested in a plugin to allow me to show my posts on a map. I came across your plugin and it looks interesting. However, since there doesn’t seem to be a trial version and it’s quite pricey I’d like some further understanding on how posts can be added to a map. I have 900 posts and this will be a lot of work to add these so I want to do it once with the right plugin.
I presume there’s a field in the admin dashboard for posts\ that allows me to assign a location for each post?
Can there be more than location in a single post?
As for display I don’t plan on inserting maps in individual posts. However, I am creating country pages and on those I’d like to display a map with all the posts from that country. Countries are a category, so can I create those maps with all the relevant posts by category.
I’d also like to have a map with ALL of my posts (essentaially all posts or all categories), is that possible?
BTW – on the flippercode shop page https://www.flippercode.com/shop/ the plugin is listed as $38, but when you click through to CodeCanyon it’s $59
Thanks for clarifying.
Thank you very much for contact and like our google maps product.

Ans: Yeah this is possible you can display locations according to the category, you have to pass the category parameter along with shortcode. Those category you will pass locations will be shown according to it.
#3 Strange, we have 59$ price shown on a site also.
Three followups though:
- Can a post have more than one location assigned to it?
- In the video, when selecting the categories shown in the post meta field, is that pulling my WP categories, or do I need to create the categories I want in the plugin.
- In the video, it also shows a "Select Map" in the post meta. Does that mean this needs to be selected for a post to appear on a map? Is the plugin not able to create a map after-the-fact. For example, can I generate a new map with x and y categories displayed without having to go back to all the posts and select that new map to display on. Basically, can a new map be generated on-the-fly based on categories?
And, indeed now the site has the correct price. It didn't 3 or 4 days ago when I first looked.
(a)Yeah you can display almost three location to a single posts by using a google maps metabox, custom fields and ACF.
#1 Using Metabox: https://www.wpmapspro.com/docs/how-to-display-posts-content-in-google-map/
#2 Using Custom Fields: https://www.wpmapspro.com/docs/how-to-show-posts-location-using-custom-fields/
#3 Using ACF: https://www.wpmapspro.com/docs/how-to-assign-location-using-acf-plugin/
(b) You can display both plugins created categories/posts categories on location infowindow.
Create Category Guide: https://www.wpmapspro.com/docs/how-to-create-a-marker-categories/ You can display posts category/marker category on a location infowindow by inserting respective placeholder.
(c) You have to create a Map using add map menu, those map will create they will display on a posts google meta box. Those maps you will select on meta box location will be displayed there.
