I need to filter some locations using the sub-category like your demo https://www.wpmapspro.com/example/filter-by-category-in-google-maps/
In particular, if I uncheck the sub-category “South Beach, Miami”, the location is correctly hided on the map.

To having the same scenario, I created a 1 category (Restaurants) with 4 sub-categories (AAA, BBB, CCC, DDD) and 3 locations:

  • LOCATION1 (Restaurant, AAA)
  • LOCATION2 (Restaurant, BBB)
  • LOCATION3 (Restaurant, CCC)
  • So if I uncheck the sub-category AAA, I want that LOCATION1 would hide in the map like in your demo, but actually LOCATION1 is still visibile on the map…. because the parent category is still checked!

You can see the example on http://www.tusciabile.it/.
How can I fix this issue?

    I solved by myself...
The issue was that I defined in the locations two category: the parent and the sub-category.
If I define only the sub-category, the problem is solved.
    Thanks for helping...
