Hello,
I would like to use marker icons in two sizes on my website. However, I need to make the marker icon on map 2 times smaller than the marker icon displayed in the post listing. How can I get the result?

Can I somehow set the size of map’s marker icon? Because the size of icon in the listing I can set in CSS.

As I saw, it’s difficult to change the map’s marker icon size in CSS.

Thanks in advance.

Hello,
You can use the custom marker as a big image marker, upload big size marker and apply to the marker category. Use small marker in your other categories. This type you can create and display both type of markers in google maps.

But I mean that I want to use the SAME picture in two different sizes - smaller on the map, larger on post listing. This is the SAME category marker.

Thanks.

Hello,
You can achieve this by inserting a placeholder {marker_icon} in a listing placeholder at listing settings under add/manage map page. You can set the width of the marker by changing in frontend.css line 952
.wpgmp_locations img {
float: left;
margin-right: 10px;
width: 100px !important; (Insert Marker Width as per your choice)
margin: 0px 10px 0px 0px !important;
}
Your issue will be resolved after this.

But the problem is that I would like to change the size of the marker displayed on the map. Can I do that?

I know I can change the listing marker size but it has to be bigger than the one on the map. And when I make it bigger with CSS, then the resolution of the img gets bad.

Thanks.

Hello,
A marker in the map is not able to adjust via CSS you have to make an image via image edit software and upload it add/manage map. You can only adjust listing image via CSS.
