Good or Bad - Rate our Support

I am using the UpVote theme for a website. The idea is to allow users to simply signin with Facebook or Twitter and post. After the first time signing up with Facebook/Twitter they are asked to make an account. On this page (edit profile) it displays the default avatar but does not give them an option to change it except to go to Gravatar. I can’t tell if that message is from WP User Avatar or from the theme itself.

Is there a way to fix this?

Just click “login” and use a twitter handle to see the user profile page.

I thought a screenshot of the page might help. In the red box is where it displays the avatar, but tells them to us Gravatar to change it.

Hello,
Please insert this code https://gist.github.com/wpflippercode/6c9aa8d02d52201fc63b87b6c7dffd85 in your activated theme functions.php.

“You can change your profile picture on Gravatar" message will be removed .
Thanks

I placed the code at the bottom of /wp-content/themes/upvote/functions.php and nothing happened. The gravatar message still appears on the profile edit screen.
