Siteground are pressing users to upgrade to PHP7, but their plugin SG Optimizer is reporting the WP Google Map plugin as incompatible. Detailed error reads:
FOUND 0 ERRORS AND 1 WARNING AFFECTING 1 LINE
19 | WARNING | Use of deprecated PHP4 style class constructor is not supported since PHP 7.
Please could you clarify the position, thanks.
Plugin is fully php 7 compatible. may i know what issue are you facing in Google maps plugin. We checked this with SG Optimizer and plugin, site is fully compatible at our end. Enclosed screenshot.
I'm afraid can't really tell you any more than my original message. I don't have any performance issues with WP Google Maps plugin, but when I run SG Optimizer for my site (http://thakehamparish.co.uk/) it is reporting WP Google Maps the only plugin not compatible with PHP7, and gives the error message above. If you are sure that there isn't in fact a compatibility problem, this must be a glitch in the SG Optimizer logic. I may be able to get around this by forcing the PHP upgrade via tools at Siteground, but you might want to contact Siteground to raise the issue and get your plugin white-listed for SG Optimizer.
We also test this with your mentioned plugin SG Optimizer, We are not getting any issue with the plugin. I also enclosed screenshot in my previous answer you can check it. All files are up to date and compatible with PHP 7. You can also send me wp login details at firstname.lastname@example.org so we can also inspect it at your end.
